“ We had dinner here tonight and it's pretty good pizza! We had the Barro Special pizza. Crust: I like all thicknesses of crust if it is made with the correct flour. This is made correctly and adds to the pizzas great flavor. Sauce: nice tangy flavor. Well done! Toppings: mozzarella was fresh and stringy indicating a good quality cheese. Plenty of pepperoni & had a nice flavor. Mushrooms, onions and peppers were fresh all added the great taste. As Arnold said, 'I'll be back!' ”
“ Easy online ordering. Love the ability to save my favorite orders. I pay ahead and clicking on the tip %, shows that total. So much easier than talking to a rushed order taker. The visual of the hot gooey pizza makes my mouth water. Then I bite into the delicious pizza. If I don't place half of it away for later, then I over eat. I often get a larger pizza so I can have leftovers for the next two days. No meat, just mushrooms, spinach, and pineapple. Makes a juicy pizza . ”

“ Okay, this really was a 4.5, but I'm so thrilled they opened a new restaurant at the old Mimi's location that I'm rounding up! Lots of parking, very clean (newly remodeled! ), staff is super friendly and efficient. There is a small patio and a kids area. We are not huge fans of the order-at-the counter experience for restaurants where we don't know the menu. The manager gave us a printed menu so we could go to the table and peruse our options without adding to the congestion at the counter. We opted for wings, salad and a small pizza. The large garden salad is huge! The wings are really good. We tried the dry rubs - raspberry chipotle and lemon pepper. The small pizza was 6 slices, and very tasty. I felt the pepperoni was a little salty. But overall, decent Chicago style pizza. It's already pretty busy! Tip: the order counter is in the room to the left as you enter. When the line backs up, it's unclear where to go. There are seats for those waiting for to-go orders. I also found the height of the order counter interesting- it's taller, so people were laying their arms on it, and leaning across it. I'm just surprised at this post-pandemic world that people are so willing to share their body residue - or is that just me? ”
